AND TEACHERS ASSOCIATION

BRO MYRDDIN
The Parent teacher association exists
to support friendship between the parents and teachers and to
raise money for the benefit of the school. Here is what we
contributed to the school last year:-
• Purchased a new sound system for the school hall
• Paid for buses to transport year 7 to Llangrannog This year
(September 2010) we have transferred £1,500 to the Music
department, out of the funds from 500 club, to pay for Yamaha
keyboards and a power box for the keyboards , wires and
headphones.
Our target this year is to raise £5,500 to buy a cinema
projector and an electric white wall for the school hall, to be
used during shows, entertainment and services, for the benefit
of all pupils. Therefore, a warm welcome to all the new parents.
I would like to encourage you to support the important work of
the association and try to attend our various events this year:-
15/10/10 – cheese and wine evening held by ‘Caws Caerfyrddin’ in
the Quins club at 7:30pm £10 per ticket.
Post Half term – Raffle, has been organized in association with
Carmarthen Football club (Tickets will be issued to each family)
25/11/10 - School Christmas fair in the school hall Food and
Band – end of January (venue to be confirmed) but a fun night of
dancing and eating! 500 club yearly subscription £12. Draw taken
monthly 1st prize £40 2nd prize £25 3rd prize £15. Forms from
any member of the Parent Teachers Association. The Parents
Teachers Association exists for our youth. Every penny we raise
this year will be spent this year. Thank you for your support
and contributions that go towards maintaining the standards and
the continued success of Bro Myrddin.
